The Frisian electric vehicle manufacturer Carver, known for its narrow urban vehicles with unique tilting technology, has started a partnership with the British Selfridges. In shops in London, Birmingham and Manchester, customers can now test and order the Carver. Customers driving away from the super-luxury department store in Oxfordstreet will not suffer from the so-called London Ultra Low Emission ULEZ charge (£12.50 per day) and Congestion Charge (£15 per day). In addition, the Carver is allowed to use bus lanes in London.

Faster or longer? Carver introduces the Carver S+, with a maximum speed of 80 km/h and the R+, the 45 km version that now has a range of 130 km. With the new versions Carver again takes an important step in its strategy to fill in the gap between electric scooters and electric bicycles on the one hand and electric cars on the other hand. With the current fuel prices, the Carver is a real option to save on transport costs. For approximately 1.75 euros, you can ‘carve’ up to 130 kilometres without a hitch.

The electric city vehicle manufacturer Carver introduces the first Dutch amphibious vehicle. The Dutch boating season officially opens on Thursday and water sport enthusiasts will be able to see a special ‘boat’ passing by in the city canals.

Carver, producer of sustainable light electric vehicles (LEVs), went public on the NPEX stock exchange again last week. The goal of issuing 1.5 million euros in convertible bonds was achieved within a record time of 3 days.

Zandvoort, 2 October – During the Electric Vehicle Experience event at the Zandvoort circuit, the Dutch company Carver launched an electric cargo vehicle. It was specially developed for emission-free urban logistics, as an alternative to delivery vans and scooters.

Carver will assemble its ultra-slim electric city vehicles in the former PostNL building in Leeuwarden. From here, the company wants to make headway in the European market. NOM and the municipality of Leeuwarden played an important role in the search for the right location.
